LocalMind AI is designed to be a private, local-first application.

• No Account Required: You do not need to create an account to use the app.
• Local Processing: All text inputs, chat history, and AI interactions are processed entirely on your device using your device's hardware. Your conversations are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party cloud servers.
• No Analytics: We do not track how you use the app or the content of your conversations.

2. Internet Access and Model Downloads

While the chat functionality works entirely offline, LocalMind AI requires an internet connection to perform specific actions initiated by you:

• Downloading AI Models: When you choose to download a new model from our selection list, the app connects to external repositories (such as Hugging Face) to retrieve the model files.

During this process, your IP address is visible to the host of the model files (standard internet protocol), but no personal information or chat history is transmitted.

3. Data Storage

Any data generated by the app (including chat logs and downloaded model files) is stored locally on your device's internal storage. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or using the in-app storage management tools.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not share your data with third parties. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel).

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. Since our app does not collect data, we have no mechanism to identify the age of our users.
