By downloading or using LocalMind AI ("the App"), these terms will automatically apply to you.

1. Apple Standard EULA

2. Nature of AI Functionality

The App uses Large Language Models (LLMs) running locally on your device to generate text and analyze images. By using this App, you acknowledge that:

• Accuracy: AI models can "hallucinate" or generate factually incorrect information. You should not rely on the App for critical facts.
• No Professional Advice: The App is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or engineering advice.
• Offensive Content: While we strive to use models with safety filters, AI may unpredictably generate content that is offensive, inappropriate, or biased. The developers of LocalMind AI cannot guarantee that all outputs will be free of such content.

3. User Data and Privacy

• Local Processing: LocalMind AI operates on a "Local-First" basis. Your chat history, prompt text, and attached images are processed locally on your device's processor.
• No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit your chat contents to our servers.
• External Downloads: When downloading new AI models, the App connects to third-party repositories (such as Hugging Face). These interactions are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party services.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the App to generate content that violates any laws or promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal acts.

Because this App utilizes open-weights models (such as Llama 3, Gemma, etc.), your use of the App is also subject to the Acceptable Use Policies of the model creators:

• Meta Llama Models: You agree to comply with the Meta Llama Community License Acceptable Use Policy.
• Google Gemma Models: You agree to comply with the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

• The App: The source code and design of the App are owned by Core Arc Studio LLC.
• The Models: The AI models downloaded within the app are subject to their respective licenses (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT, Llama Community License) as attributed within the App's "Settings" > "Licenses" section.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Core Arc Studio LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App or reliance on any AI-generated content.
