Your audio.
Your device.
Your audio and on-device processing
Denoise: Audio Restoration is provided by Core Arc Studio LLC. Noise reduction and speech restoration run on your iPhone or iPad. Imported audio, the audio extracted from videos, microphone recordings and saved cleanup versions are not uploaded to Core Arc Studio or a remote audio-processing service.
You do not need a Denoise account. The app has no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK, and does not track you across other apps and websites.
Files and microphone permission
You choose an audio or video file through the system file picker. Denoise imports an audio copy into its local library; it does not browse all of your files. Microphone access is requested when you start recording. You can change microphone permission in your device’s Settings app. Importing a recording does not require microphone access.
Local recordings, preferences and backups
The app stores its recording library, originals, saved cleanup WAV versions, titles, dates and cleanup choices in local app files. It also stores appearance and cleanup preferences, the daily free export allowance, downloaded cleanup tools and processing-time estimates on your device. Purchase access is checked using Apple’s StoreKit information, including its local transaction cache.
Delete a recording from Your recordings to remove it and its saved cleanup versions from the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Your device’s backup settings may include app data, and backups or copies you exported are managed separately by you, Apple or the destination service. Keep exported copies of recordings you want to preserve.
Cleanup-tool downloads and ordinary network information
Some selected cleanup tools require an initial HTTPS download from GitHub or Hugging Face, including their download infrastructure and content-delivery networks. Download requests identify the tool files being requested. As with ordinary internet requests, the providers can receive technical information such as your IP address, request time and client connection information. These are requests for cleanup-tool files, not uploads of your recordings.
Once a compatible tool has been downloaded and prepared, it can process audio offline. A fresh installation is not fully offline. Choosing the app’s downloaded-tools-only preference prevents new tool downloads; it does not turn off Apple’s purchase services or web pages you choose to open.
The providers describe their practices in the GitHub privacy statement and Hugging Face privacy policy.
Exports you choose
Denoise exports mono WAV audio through the system share sheet. A temporary export copy is prepared for the share operation and removed by the app after completion or cancellation. When you choose a destination, such as Files, another app or an online service, that destination receives the exported audio and its own privacy practices apply. Exported copies are separate from the recording in Denoise’s library.
Apple purchases and subscription status
Apple handles monthly and annual subscriptions and lifetime purchases through your Apple Account. Denoise uses StoreKit to load purchase options, verify Pro access and restore purchases on your device. The app does not send purchase transactions to a Core Arc Studio server, and Core Arc Studio does not receive your payment card details through Denoise.
Purchasing, restoring access and managing subscriptions can use internet access and are subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Read the Denoise terms page for purchase and renewal information.
Support messages you send us
If you email us, your email provider and ours process your message, and Core Arc Studio receives the address and information you choose to send. The website contact form sends your name, email address, subject and message to our support service. We use this correspondence to answer your request and handle the issue. An audio recording is not required for support; only send one if you choose to and have permission to share it.
This website is separate from the app
The on-device processing and no-app-analytics statements describe Denoise itself. Cloudflare hosts and secures this website, so visiting it can involve technical request information such as an IP address, request time and browser details. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to limit spam. Opening an external privacy, source, license or support link also contacts that website. None of these actions enables automatic recording uploads from Denoise.
Your choices and questions
You control file imports, microphone permission, recording deletion, tool downloads and exports. You can manage device backups and App Store subscriptions through Apple’s settings. For questions about Denoise privacy or information you voluntarily sent to support, email [email protected]. We will review your request and applicable privacy rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when Denoise’s privacy practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be reflected in the app and its App Store information where applicable.
